In this tutorial, i will show you how to install Docker Engine and Docker Manager on your TerraMaster NAS.
These apps are provided by TerraMaster and are available in the official App Center on TOS.
a) TOS6 x86_64
Login to TOS with your superuser account created during NAS initial setup. From the top menu, go to App Center and click on the All section on the left menu. On the search box type docker. This will filer on the 2 apps we need to install. Now click Install on the Docker Engine app.
The app will now be downloaded, installed and enabled automatically. If these steps are succesfully, the button function and text will change to Disable.
Once the Docker Engine is enabled, we proceed with the installation of Docker Manager. Same as for Docker Engine, click on Install.
Now, you screen should look like below, as confirmation that both Docker Engine and Docker Manager are installed and running. Docker Engine doesn’t have any additional function as this is only the “engine” to run our containers, that will be created using Docker Manager app. Thus can be only enabled or disabled.
Docker Manager will be our frontend app to create our containers. You can open the app and from the next menu you can click on Send to desktop
The shortcut icon to Docker Manager is also available on the top menu.

All apps here are not officially provided by TerraMaster, but developed by me in spare time. All the apps you can download here are free. If you encounter problems while using the app, I can provide you with advice and help as much as i can. Since it takes me a lot of time to maintain these apps and provide technical support, I would appreciate if you make a donation to support my work and continue to provide up to date versions.
