Good day,
Is it possible to create a Kernelmodules package for TOS6? My use case is that I am on TOS5 and running a Domoticz container with RFXCOM and a P1 meter mapped, which works great!
However once I upgrade to TOS6, I loose that functionality, as the drivers aren’t in place anymore.
Any help would be highly appreciated!
Thank you in advance!

I’m also very interested in this – I’ve been waiting for a solution as well. In my case, I’m specifically looking for support for the CP210 USB driver, which is essential for my setup.
It would be great to have a way to install this driver (or a full kernelmodules package) on TOS6, just like it worked on TOS5. I hope this can be considered or provided soon.
Thanks in advance!
March 14, 2025 at 09:36 #3223Hi, if it’s possible to make a donation to make the new version available for TOS6, just let me say how can I do that and how much do you need to finish it before May.
I’m highly interested in kernel modules because I’d like to use my Coral USB TPU module.

March 14, 2025 at 11:22 #3226CP219 will be included in the kernel module but Coral USB TPU driver require a different approach. I need a device to test that the kernel driver will work. Which device do you have ?

April 2, 2025 at 23:04 #3246I would love it if this was on TOS6. Im trying to set up octoprint on my TAS. But i cant get my TAS to recognize my printer. Is there any other way to get my server to recognize my 3d printer?

August 23, 2025 at 09:36 #3522Hello,
First of all, thank you for the great work on the KernelModules package for TOS 6!
I’ve installed KernelModules TOS6 6.1.120.2 x86_64, and I can see that it currently provides serial, modem, and USB class drivers. However, the Bluetooth kernel modules that were present in TOS 5 are missing.
Specifically, could you please add support for the following modules?
- btusb.ko
- btbcm.ko
- btintel.ko
- btrtl.ko
These are needed to enable standard Bluetooth dongles such as CSR8510 A10, Broadcom (Asus BT400), Intel, and Realtek adapters, which were working under TOS 5.
This would make it possible to use Bluetooth again on TOS 6 (e.g., for Home Assistant integrations and other applications).
Thanks again for your effort and support!
Best regards,

September 27, 2025 at 12:14 #3640Hi everyone,
I’m trying to use a Z-Wave USB stick (Sigma Designs 0658:0200) on my TerraMaster NAS running kernel version 6.1.120+. The device shows up correctly via lsusb:
Bus 001 Device 007: ID 0658:0200 Sigma Designs, Inc.
However, the system fails to associate a serial driver with it. The cp210x.ko module loads successfully, but cdc_acm.ko does not, even though I installed the kernel module plugin that should include it.
When I try to load cdc_acm manually using modprobe, I get:
modprobe: FATAL: Module cdc_acm not found in directory /lib/modules/6.1.120+
The plugin manager lists cdc_acm as available but not loaded, and suggests reconnecting the device or rebooting — neither of which helped. No /dev/ttyACM* or /dev/ttyUSB* device appears, and dmesg doesn’t show any relevant driver binding.
Is there a way to force the system to load cdc_acm, or manually associate the USB device with the correct driver? Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance!
October 1, 2025 at 19:17 #3641Hello,
thank you very much for your work and my zigbee dongle is mount properly. But in case of reboot, I had to reload cp210x with GUI. I have error with the service on boot (same in ssh)
user@TNAS:~# /usr/local/KernelModules/init.d/service start
cp: not writing through dangling symlink ‘/lib/modules/6.1.120+/additional/cp210x.ko’
user@TNAS:~#
Have you got a solution ?
Thank you very much
